September 27 is a date deeply etched into our national memory. On this day in 2020, Armenia was thrust into a devastating war, a tragedy that claimed the lives of countless brave soldiers and left families and communities forever changed.

It is in this context that the Friends of the  Armenian Soldier and Family (FASF) was created, with a mission to honor sacrifice through support. Our goal is to stand by the families of fallen heroes and veterans, offering not only financial assistance but also recognition, dignity, and a sense of community.

Giving back is not simply charity—it is a responsibility. The families who gave everything deserve more than gratitude; they deserve opportunity, stability, and hope. Veterans who stood on the front lines deserve care and support to help them rebuild their lives.

Philanthropy, in this sense, becomes a form of remembrance. Each contribution, each act of support, is a promise that their sacrifice is not forgotten. It is a commitment to resilience, to rebuilding, and to ensuring that the legacy of courage is carried forward.

September 27 will always be a day of mourning. But through FASF, we strive to make it equally a day of purpose—a reminder that through giving back, we not only honor the past but also invest in a stronger, more compassionate future.
