Today, on International Day of Education, we celebrate the transformative power of knowledge — the force that drives progress, fuels innovation, and empowers individuals to shape the world around them. Education is more than acquiring skills; it is the foundation of opportunity, resilience, and leadership.

For over three decades, I’ve been privileged to contribute to education in multiple ways: founding companies that create jobs and technological advancements, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and supporting initiatives that provide access to quality learning around the world. What I’ve learned is simple but profound: education changes everything.

This commitment is also reflected in my 12 years of service on the AUA Board of Trustees, where I have worked to support the university’s mission and the advancement of higher education.
